History

The Kupu Culinary Program delivers introductory culinary training, including hands-on cooking and food preparation skills to young adults, aged 16-24. Based out of the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Hookupu Center, Kupu Culinary builds job experience and service-learning opportunities, including knowledge of sustainable resources and the cultural significance of food preparation in Hawaii. Kupu Culinary transitioned recently to preparing bento/lunch boxes. Bento are available for pre-order sale online for pick-up/delivery on Wednesday's and Friday's. Kupu Culinary will also be selling Hawaiian food at the Kakaako Farmers Market on Saturdays and Kailua Farmers Market on Sundays.
