Getting shaved ice was one of my goals while in Hawaii. After a day of hiking the volcanoes, this was a way to cap it off. This is a small shop in small shopping center. There is ample parking....

It's in a plaza so lots of parking. We came here a few times because the price was good compared to other places and it was good. It's not the best shave ice we've had on Hawaii but it was good....

Hilo Ice Shave provides the perfect snack on a hot Hilo afternoon after going to the beach. The ice is shaved as fine as any I've tried in the past, plus they definitely don't skimp on the syrup....
