Hale Puna, a non-profit organization in Waimea, Hawaii, is dedicated to revitalizing historic properties on West Kaua'i. They breathe new life into neglected landmarks, creating vibrant spaces for local businesses, food growers, and cultural activities.

One of their successful projects includes the restoration of the iconic Kokeʻe Lodge in Kōkeʻe State Park, now a bustling community hub near Waimea Canyon. Additionally, Hale Puna is fervently working on the preservation of the Gulick-Rowell House, Kauaʻi's oldest residence, under the guidance of a renowned restoration architect.

Furthermore, Hale Puna champions local food sovereignty by managing a regenerative farming food forest, organizing gardening events, and facilitating youth agricultural programs. Their weekly farmers' market showcases a diverse range of local produce and artisanal goods, fostering a strong sense of community and sustainability.
