Merger of The Astrup Company and John Boyle & Company led to the formation of Tri Vantage in May 2007. Tri Vantage is an international supplier of specialty fabrics and hardware used in the manufacturing of awnings, structures, signs, casual furniture, tents, umbrellas and marine products. Its products are used for residential, commercial and architectural applications. The company serves customers through 15 state-of-the-art distribution centers in North America. Its partners include Trican Corp. and Tunali Tec. Founded in 1880, Glen Raven produces awning, marine, furniture and sign fabrics. It offers products, such as Microsuede and Repelzz, which keep people drier, warmer and safer during a range of outdoor activities. The company produces fabrics for apparel products that are suitable for hunting and fishing. Glen Raven additionally offers GlenGuard, which provides protection needed by workers in the electric utility and oil and gas industries. The company has locations in the United States, Mexico, Latin America, France, Italy, Germany, Scandinavia, South Africa and Asia. It offers products under the brand names of Sunbrella and Dickson.
