T&E Grading & Hauling

History

Around 1980 William Thornton, one of the partners, started excavating, clearing, grading, and demolishing single family homes, working primarily for home builders in the Atlanta area, using heavy equipment. He later met Ernie Eden, a commercial real estate broker, investor, and developer, who joined him in the business, primarily in business development, accounting, marketing, and the administrative side of the business.

Specialties

We specialize in total demolition of homes and commercial buildings using heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and loaders. We often grade building pads and dig footings for buildings to be built. We haul dirt or gravel into or away from sites. We clear land or lots, usually to prepare for construction or roads to be built.
