SOKOYAFiyin Sokoya, MD, is a fellowship-trained, double board certified head and neck oncologic and facial plastic surgeon located in the Atlanta, GA area who has extensive training in all extirpative, reconstructive, and cosmetic procedures of the head, face, and neck. Dr. Sokoya provides expert care to patients throughout the Atlanta, GA area.Dr. Sokoya graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a bachelors degree in biology. He then completed his medical degree at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, graduating with distinction. He continued his medical training with an internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head/Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Sokoya was then selected out of a competitive pool of applicants to complete a fellowship with Dr. Yadro Ducic at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, which emphasized all aspects of head and neck oncology and facial plastic surgery including free tissue transfer.When Dr. Sokoya performs procedures such as rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, facelifts and other cosmetic and reconstructive procedures in the face, he operates with the understanding that his patients trust him with a very intimate and personal part of their identity. As a board-certified otolaryngology/head and neck surgeon, Dr. Sokoya performs a wide range of procedures to accomplish his patients goals. His fellowship training further allows him to expertly treat patients with head and neck cancer, as well as skin cancer.
