We specialize in services to those who are dealing with the challenges of an unplanned pregnancy. See our web page entitled Our Services for an Unplanned Pregnancy under the link I am Pregnant to read in more detail about the many ways we provide assistance. We understand that not everyone needs the same kind of help nor will they make the same decisions along the way. We are here to work with each individual to help them meet their needs, whatever they may be. Adoptions We provide adoption services for infant children through our private placement program and for older children who are placed through our foster care program. Adoption services provided in our private placement program involves sensitive and comprehensive work with birth parents and adoptive parents in order to meet their needs and comply with legal and licensing requirements. Adoptions through our foster care program are primarily done in conjunction with the State of Georgia, Department of Family and Children Services, when they hold legal custody of the children. The services and procedures for each program are different. We provide foster care services through our private placement program and through our contracted services with the State of Georgia, Department of Human Resources. Through this program we serve children between the ages of newborn to 18. Our licensing rules and regulations provide the guidelines for what services and procedures need to be followed in each type of care. We are available to provide seminars and workshops for the enrichment of family life on a variety of topics. Fees are negotiated for this on a case-by-case basis. Contact AGAPE to discuss desired topics or to schedule a presentation.
