History

Lucy's Laundry was established in 2011 when we opened our doors for business at our Washington Road location next to MedNow and Texas Roadhouse. Our goal was to create an upscale laundry experience so families could do a necessary chore in a pleasant environment that is safe, clean, quiet, centrally-located, and attended Monday-Saturday to put the focus on the customer's experience. Lucy's is a family business, as the business was named after the owners' daughter, Lucy, who was 7 when the business opened. Our location at Vaughn Square in Martinez was purchased in May, 2017, when the hard-working former owners, Mr. and Mrs. Amin, retired and desired new owners who would value their customers as they had for 30 years.

They do a great job on our laundry. It usually takes 1-2 days to get it back. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Went to clean a comforter and there were more "out of order" machines than actual working and the place is a dump inside. Outside it looks nice and "new". Very deceiving! Go to Peanuts, anywhere...
