Locust Grove Elementary School

Located in Jonesboro, Ga., Jonesbhoro Middle School serves more than 950 students in grades six through eight. The school provides coaching in a variety of sports activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, swimming, and track and field. It has a faculty of more than 80 full-time certified teachers and paraprofessionals that includes academic and literacy coaches, guidance counselors, bookkeepers, media specialists, and art and music professionals. Lithonia Middle School serves more than 1,600 students in grades six through eight. The school conducts classes in language arts, math, science and social studies. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as dance, drama, fine arts, and technical and physical education. It also features a band and choir. Lithonia Middle School supports a range of sports activities that includes football, basketball, and track and field. The school provides special education to gifted and talented students. In addition, it operates a parent-teacher-student association that conducts various fundraising activities and special programs. Its staff includes a custodian, psychologist, social worker, and speech and language therapist. The school also provides food, transportation, guidance counseling and health care. Located in Lithonia, Ga., Lithonia Middle School is a part of DeKalb County School System.

Clifton Elementary School, located in Atlanta, is a part of the DeKalb County School System. The school provides education to more than 500 students in prekindergarten through grade five. It is a multicultural technological school that provides education in the areas of academic, social and emotional learning. Clifton Elementary School s faculty and staff include over 50 teachers and paraprofessionals. The school has a variety of specialists in math, music, art, French, reading, technology and visual arts. It offers membership for technology, French, young gents, book, math and beta clubs. Clifton Elementary School also provides several Title 1 and tutorial and support programs.
