We are a family owned and operated. Our recipes originate from Oaxaca, Mexico and have been passed down from generation to generation; and now we are passionate about bring our bold flavors to the Atlanta area. What makes us unique is our way of cooking and authenticity. Our dishes are prepared just like our mother would prepare them back in Oaxaca, authentic, flavorful, and colorful.

I eat here so often that I feel guilty about it. I'm here all the time because their food is so tasty and cheap. Tell me if you found tacos this inexpensive anywhere else please. Taco Tuesdays...

I really should think of La Mixteca regularly instead of just at the holidays. TAMALES! And they are done right!! I am looking forward to my next visit. Which will be very soon.

The tamale was very dry. It tasted as if it was made the day before or earlier in the day. I used to love this place but I can't say that I'll be back.
