Vikash Modi, M.D., earned his medical degree from Ross University in 2010. Three years later, he completed his family medicine residency at Medical College of Georgia (MCG) in Augusta GA. He studied Neurosciences and English literature both abroad at St. Andrews University in Scotland and at Emory University in Atlanta, where he received his undergraduate degree. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Modi was in practice at LiveOn Health Center in his hometown of McDonough GA. Dr. Modi is board certified in family medicine and he is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Medical Association (AMA), Georgia Academy of Family Physicians (GAFP), and the Institute of Lifestyle Medicine (ILM) at Harvard University. Nutrition and lifestyle medicine continue to form the foundation of Dr. Modi's approach to patient care. In his spare time, Dr. Modi enjoys spending time with his wife whom he met at Emory University, traveling, bicycling, playing tennis, and most recently he is learning to play golf. Dr. Modi welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
