Charles officially retired in 2009 at 82 years old, and now spends most of his time tending to his rental properties. The business is still family owned and operated, now by two of his grand children, Stephen Coffee and Caroline Spence. Coffee Insurance Agency, Inc has served Thomas County and its surrounding area's insurance needs for more than 40 years, and plans to do so for many years to come.Stephen has been working at our agency for over 10 years. He started during highschool as an after school job, and found out he liked it. He then went to the University of Georgia and graduated in 2004 with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance. Since then he has worked here full time, and as of 2009 is the principal agent. His wife Jenna is a 4th grade teacher at Quitman Elementary School. They don't have any children yet, but their cat Tom keeps them plenty busy.Caroline started working with our agency in 2001, when Stephen left to go to college. She spends most of her time when she's not at work chasing after her three-year-old son Beau. Her husband Jonathan is the owner of Outdoors Unlimited.Lori joined our agency in 2010 as a service representative. She has been back in Thomasville for a few years, after spending a few years in Auburn and then Columbus. Lori has two daughters ; Montana, a senior at TCCHS, and Mackenzie, a sixth grader at CMS.
