Following a 28-year accounting career, Rosalie Gluck identified potential cost savings through effective tax management and formed Real & Personal Property Tax Consultants. For the next three decades, our client base grew organically to over 100 clients with multi-property portfolios. In August 2002, Anne Sheehan, CRE, MAI, FRICS, became the Owner and President of Real & Personal Property Tax Consultants. During her first year of leadership, our company's client base grew by 25% through private referrals. Since then, all functional areas have been evaluated, service lines realigned and web-based technology implemented. In 2004, RPTA expanded its focus to include corporations with diversity initiatives and became WBE certified by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council. We are also a current member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and the Georgia Association of Assessing Officials. In 2005, our company changed its name to Real Property Tax Advisors, Inc to better reflect our core focus on commercial real estate and success as a client advocate. RPTA's reputation is founded upon the comprehensive knowledge of the business of commercial real estate, as well as our proven track record of lowering corporations' tax burdens. Our strategic approach continues to prove successful with a reduction rate of 97%, in an industry average of 50% and an average reduction of 15%, in an industry average of 10%.
