Cobb Health Car Center

The Cobb Health Care Center is a 110-bed, hospital-based, long-term care facility. It is one of the centers operated by the Ty Cobb Healthcare System. The center is located in Comer, Ga., and makes the services of the local physicians, nurses, certified nursing assistants, dentists, dieticians, pharmacists available for its residents. Additionally, it offers house keeping, laundry, maintenance, rehabilitative and transportation services. It also offers a variety of activities, such as music events, trips, games, crafts, exercise and books. It provides services of a full-time social worker who takes care of the social and emotional needs of the residents who are suffering from any depression. Its various sister facilities include the Cobb Memorial Hospital, Hart County Hospital, Brown Memorial Convalescent Center, Hartwell Health Care Center and The Gables.
