Anastasia Couvaras, MD

Dr. Anastasia Couvaras received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia. She went on to earn her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, Georgia. Dr. Couvaras completed her residency in Urology at the Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans, where she trained extensively in all areas of urologic surgery. Driven by a passion for improving the quality of life for women with pelvic floor disorders, Dr. Couvaras chose to further specialize by completing a fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. There, she received advanced training in vaginal and robotic pelvic reconstructive surgery, voiding dysfunction, and the management of complex female pelvic conditions.
