Friends of Sierra Leone

Friends of Sierra Leone is a non-profit organization founded in 1991 by returned Peace Corps Volunteers and other volunteers who had served in Sierra Leone, with the aim of aiding in the development and well-being of Sierra Leone and its people, while increasing understanding about the country among Americans and others.

As an independent country-of-service affiliate of the National Peace Corps Association, Friends of Sierra Leone serves as a virtual gathering place for sharing ideas and thoughts, providing a platform for individuals who share their goals to come together and contribute towards the betterment of Sierra Leone.
