It's home to crystal-clear waters that are perfect for swimming—especially on hot days—and many other outdoor activities. You can go canoeing down the Wekiva River and spot wildlife like alligators, turtles, and black bears, and even go hiking, fishing and snorkeling. When hunger strikes, have a picnic by the water or visit one of the food trucks at Wekiva Island. The park may close when it reaches capacity, particularly during summer, so get there early to avoid disappoinment. – Tripadvisor
