History

As the United States affiliate and founder of the World Traditional Taekwondo Union and the Songahm Taekwondo Federation, ATA holds its 800-plus member organizations up to high standards, expecting excellence and delivering the support necessary to make it happen. Because of Karate America's accreditation through ATA, our schools aren't typical. We are able to offer our students the broader activities and events provided by ATA that aren't available to non-affiliates. As a Karate America student, your martial arts training has better value by taking advantage of some of these ATA special activities and events.

Specialties

Our students come to Karate America to study martial arts for different reasons, and each comes to us with varying degrees of ability. While Taekwondo is known around the world as one of the most powerful forms of martial arts with its dynamic kicking and hand techniques, students easily learn at their own pace and ability level so they reach their own personal goals.
