Incorporated in 1978, the Habilitation Center is a not-for-profit organization. Located in Boca Raton, Fla., the organization provides a variety of programs and services, such as developmental training, manufacturing services, plant nursery, individual, group and family counseling, functional academics, computer training, leisure-time and recreational activities. The Habilitation Center has affiliation with the United Way of Palm Beach County, United Way of Broward County, Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce, American Electronics Association, Florida Nursery Growers Association and Business Development Board of Palm Beach County, among others.

OIC of Broward County is a community-based organization that offers employment training and services for former prisoners and low-income individuals and families in Broward County, Fla. It provides re-entry programs to help individuals released from prisons. The organization offers BOOSTER, an employment-centered service that includes job training, placement, mentoring and support services. OIC of Broward County provides housing assistance services, as well as assists the victims of drug and alcohol abuse. Additionally, it offers Project Second Chance, an employment readiness training program that includes workshops related to resume writing, application completion, and life skills and self-esteem development. The organization also offers case management and information and referral services. OIC of Broward County provides health care and pregnancy prevention services for youths, as well as offers marriage counseling services.
