The organization partners with local restaurants to equip at-risk youth with culinary skills while serving delicious southern-inspired dishes made from local produce and proteins.

Led by Executive Chef Carl Watts, who has a rich background in crisis intervention and culinary mentorship, Underground Kitchen also focuses on fostering healthy eating practices and life skills among young adults.
