Board-Certified Optometrist Dr. Denise Foran Billings was born and raised in Michigan, received her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from Michigan College of Optometry (formerly Ferris State University, College of Optometry) magna cum laude in 1982. Dr. Billings moved to Florida in 1984 and established her own practice in Port Charlotte in 1986. She was nominated and accepted as a Fellow in The American Academy of Optometry (AAO) in 1999.
