Firstly, a complete, custom alteration facility that provides custom alterations and tailoring for walk-in clients as well as commercial retail stores. Outside alterations is a service constantly sought after in the Tampa Bay area. Most local retail stores do not offer alterations as a part of their business. We work in cooperation with various Tampa businesses to assist them in offering alteration services to their clients.Secondly, the convenience of shop by appointment custom tailored clothing for men and women is offered by Bespoke & Co. Whether in our showroom, your office or in the comfort of your own home we can offer a truly customized service to provide the finest tailored clothing the industry has to offer. Select from a variety of the finest fabrics and merchandise produced by a host of various manufacturers both here in the United States and in Italy. We offer custom suits, sport coats, outerwear, trousers, dress shirts, sport shirts and accessories for men and women in addition to skirts and dresses for women.Additionally, we work with the local performing arts facilities to produce costumes and wardrobes for major productions as well as other Tampa events such as Gasparilla. We will work with you to design and manufacture costumes for your entire Krewe. The Alteration Place also created and produced the uniforms and costumes for the halftime entertainment at Super Bowl XXXV.Our professional staff includes two tailors that have been an integral part of The Alteration Place since 1989. Migdalia Bautista and Paula Gonzalez are two sisters who emigrated here from Cuba in the early 1980's. They are recognized for their outstanding service and superior quality alterations and tailoring. Migdalia and Paula clients come from as far away as Tarpon Springs, Zepherhills, Land O Lakes, Lakeland and Orlando. They are both well known locally and widely respected in Tampa's Spanish community.David Kahn, owner of The Alteration Place, has twenty-nine years of corporate experience in the apparel business. David's career experience ranges from working with wholesale clothing manufacturers like Pincus Bros.-Maxwell, to general management, merchandising and buying for companies such as Nordstrom, Mitchell's of Westport, Paul Stuart and Hugo Boss. David had a tremendous success rate in each of his retail endeavors, focusing predominantly on custom tailored clothing.
