Dr. Ossama Maher received his medical degree from Cairo University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his residency at Brooklyn Hospital Center; New York and his fellowship in hematology-oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston; Texas. Dr. Maher also completed a combined pediatric neuro-oncology/stem cell transplant fellowship at Dana-Faber Cancer Institute at Harvard Medical School. Board certified in pediatrics and pediatric hematology oncology; Dr. Maher is the associate clinical director of the neuro-oncology program; which provides state-of-the-art treatment for all newly diagnosed and recurrent brain tumors in pediatrics. He also conducts research studies and stem cell transplantation for children with brain tumors.
