Sutherland Elementary School

Community Christian School was established in 1968 as a ministry of Community Baptist Church. It features classroom buildings and athletic fields, as well as an office complex, auditorium, air-conditioned gymnasium and playground area. The school operates a preschool, as well as elementary, middle and high school. Community Christian School serves students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The schools curriculum includes classes in a variety of subjects, such as English, math, history, science, social studies, geography and physical education. Established in 1988, Lake St. George Elementary School is located in Palm Harbor, Fla. The school serves more than 550 students in kindergarten through grade five. It conducts classes in English, math, science and social studies. It offers Spanish as a foreign language. Lake St. George Elementary School features a band and choir. The school also conducts art, dance, guitar, karate, piano and violin classes. It operates a parent-teacher association that organizes several fundraising activities and special programs, including book fairs and musical shows. In addition, the school organizes field trips to various educational and cultural destinations. Its range of sports activities includes basketball and golf. The school also provides special education services to gifted and talented students. Lake St. George Elementary School is a part of Pinellas County Schools.
