Owner, Alison Higgins has made pet sitting a sideline hobby for over 14 years in the lower keys. In 2013, when she moved to Key West, she teamed up with Karen Quist, and incorporated Sustainable Pooch, enabling them to serve pets and their people parents over the entire area.

Sustainable Pooch is run by Alison Higgins, a conservation-minded, 15-year Keys resident. With 14 years of pet-sitting experience in the Keys, Alison has worked with pets of all kinds and has references from many satisfied clients. When you hire Sustainable Pooch, Alison, her Lower Keys partner Karen Quist or another of her Keys partners will pamper your pets overnight in the comfort of your home, making both your critters and your house more secure. The Pooch is licensed, bonded and insured. Prices are on a sliding scale based on availability, number of pets, location and other duties.
