St Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE)

Established in 1941, St Petersburg Clearwater-PIE is an international airport located in Clearwater, Fla. The airport provides access to the beaches and tourist destinations in the Tampa Bay area and Pinellas County in Florida. It is spread across an area of more than 1,900 acres and handles more than 300,000 passengers every year. The various amenities offered to passengers include a restaurant, cocktail lounge, news and gift shops, a duty-free shop, an on-site golf course, bus transportation and car rental agencies. The airport provides a wide range of services and amenities to airlines, such as fuel sales, maintenance and repair services, parts, hangar storage, charter services, catering, pilot lounges, ground transportation, conference rooms and weather rooms. The airport is home to the Coast Guard Air Station and the Central Florida Region Automated Flight Service Station. It is designated as a foreign trade zone. Additionally, it offers aviation training courses.
