Sichuan Kitchen is hands down the BEST Chinese restaurant in all of Jacksonville!!! FYI their hours say open at 11 but they don't actually open until 1130. I always order the spicy cucumbers...

Sichuan Kitchen isn't the place you visit for ambience. There's no music, the décor is bare, and the service is straightforward and minimal. Orders are taken, food delivered, that's about it. But...

Here is my good, bad and ugly. I had lunch out with someone. Learned about this restaurant from other former northerners it was good- and it was! GOOD: Everything we ordered came out piping hot....

This was a pleasant surprise for me. I luv spicy food and this place had just enough kick but not to much for those who like it less spicy. I never knew this place was here and I will return.
