Accountability is presently driving the educational system throughout the country. We must assure that our top students continue to make yearly growth and our remaining students who may not achieve state standards, make substantial growth. The promise of education is to teach all children to read, do math, and write. Therefore, it is important that no child is left behind, and that each student will be prepared for state standardized tests. ACVA students are administered the Stanford Achievement Test 10 or known as SAT10.The concept for Austin Christian Private Academy is to provide the student a concentrated learning environment with state of-the-art technology and superior instruction. The uniqueness of the program is centered around the uniqueness of the student. During the first year, students are exposed to subjects normally taught in grades 4, 5, and 6. At the end of the first year, students are expected to achieve test measurement scores in the upper percentile of national scores for sixth grade students. Second year students are exposed to subjects normally taught in grades 7, 8, and 9. At the end of the second year, students are expected to achieve test measurement scores in the upper percentile of national scores for ninth grade students. Third year students are exposed to subjects normally taught in grades 10, 11, and 12.
