History
St. Peter the Apostle began in 2007 when Bishop Robert Lynch appointed Fr. Dennis Hughes to begin a new Catholic Church in the growing Trinity area. The First mass was held in 2008 as excited parishioners gathered at Trinity Memorial Gardens' Chapel. After quickly outgrowing the small chapel, the church moved to a retail storefront at the Trinity Village Shopping Center. In February 2011 fundraising began to construct a permanent multi-purpose building on property owned by the diocese. The community gave generously, the building was built and masses began to be held in the permanent structure at the end of 2012.
