Florida Design was founded in 1979. As a State Certified General Construction firm our primary focus is on the water and wastewater construction needs of Florida. We have more than 20 years of diversified experience in utility construction and management. Underground utility projects ranging from airport drainage expansion, potable well field expansion, conventional water treatment as well as reverse osmosis treatment, chemical treatment systems, air scrubbers, lift station installation and site utilities improvements for housing and commercial development projects. Among many process plant projects specifically water and wastewater treatment Florida Design Contractors has concentrated in the field of quality construction through the use of licensed professional subcontractors well versed in their associated trades. We specialize in innovative solutions and self-performing the most difficult of mechanical and process piping projects. Our mission includes client and business development project negotiations and execution. Management and supervision of environmental projects in water pollution control, industrial hazardous waste sludge treatment and disposal, analysis of environmental regulations, process development, permit processing ; groundwater projects, systems construction management of municipal water and wastewater projects, design standards and value engineering analysis to recommend implementation. Our capabilities include the design build of both public and private projects and construction management.
