Radomir Kosanovic, M.D., is a nonsurgical spine care physician at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, specializing in interventional pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Kosanovic diagnoses and treats patients with acute and chronic pain. He uses a range of treatment modalities, including spinal and joint injections, medication pump trials and management, stimulator trials and rehabilitation to help patients manage their pain and regain function. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Kosanovic served as an attending physician at Pain Management Centers of America, where he provided care for patients with short- and long-term pain using a range of interventional treatments. After earning his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Kosanovic completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at Metropolitan Hospital Center in New York City. He continued his training and completed an interventional pain fellowship at Pain Management Centers of America. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Kosanovic conducts research on the usage and efficacy of a variety of therapeutic interventions in relieving chronic pain. His work can be found in respected publications including Pain Physician. As a strong believer that our choices and habits deeply affect our well-being, Dr. Kosanovic strives to help his patients get back to the basics of good health. He takes time to guide and educate his patients on how to make healthy lifestyle changes and empowers them to get back to the activities they love. Outside of work, Dr. Kosanovic enjoys exercising, especially basketball and CrossFit, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Kalogera also serves as a reviewer for many scientific publications. During her research fellowship, she, along with an expert research team, was the recipient of the prestigious Mayo Clinic Excellence Through Teamwork Award for serving as co-principal investigator in the Departmental and Multidisciplinary Quality Improvement project, “Enhanced Recovery in Gynecologic Surgery.” This continuing work on Enhanced Recovery After Surgery revolutionized the perioperative care model and has resulted in a major paradigm shift in the gynecologic surgical practice. Dr. Kalogera believes in a compassionate and holistic approach to cancer care, where the importance of respecting and responding to patients’ needs comes first as the foundation of any treatment plan.Her work as a gynecologic oncologist allows her to help patients and their families navigate a challenging and intimate period of their lives. Steven Hale, M.D., is a fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine physician at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. He served as academic chief during a family medicine residency at Central Michigan University in Saginaw, Michigan, and was a research assistant at Gerling Spine Care and Research Institute in New York and New Jersey. Dr. Hale’s clinical training also includes a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Baptist Health | FIU in Miami, Florida. During his fellowship training, Dr. Hale provided primary care sports medicine services for Miami-Dade County Public Schools and collegiate level athletes at FIU, Barry University and St. Thomas University.
