Nicanda Gordon, M.D., is a family medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care. He provides comprehensive healthcare to patients, serving as the primary point of contact for their healthcare needs. He specializes in preventive care and lifestyle medicine and treats a wide range of chronic health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, obesity, COPD, sickle cell, asthma and osteoarthritis as well as issues related to sexual health and smoking cessation. Dr. Gordon earned his medical degree at the University of the West Indies School of Medicine in Jamaica. He completed a family medicine residency at Community Health of South Florida with rotations at Jackson Health System in Miami. Committed to improving patient care and outcomes, Dr. Gordon focuses on building strong, lasting relationships with his patients and understanding their unique needs and wants. He collaborates with his patients to create practical and personal care plans and stresses the importance of annual wellness exams to ensure they are focused on prevention, long-term health and quality of life. Dr. Gordon speaks English and Spanish. When he is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family and going to the beach. He also plays soccer and is an avid fan of the English Premier League.

Neena Yoyakey, D.O., is a family medicine physician at Baptist Health, providing primary care services to patients ages 8 and up related to prevention and wellness, osteopathic manipulation and chronic disease management. After earning her medical degree from Michigan State University, Dr. Yoyakey completed her osteopathic residency in family medicine at what is now called Ascension Health in Warren, Michigan. Dr. Yoyakey is dedicated to providing quality health services at the highest level of care for her patients. As a family medicine physician, she appreciates being able to care for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Dr. Yoyakey’s approach to patient care is to treat each individual with empathy as she partners with them to achieve the best results for each individual. She believes in creating a partnership with the patient, so it is a collaborative effort to achieving the best quality of life. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association. When Dr. Yoyakey is not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and trying new cuisines and restaurants.
