The Brevard County Stormwater Program, also known as B.C.S.P., is offered by the Brevard County Natural Resources Management Office. It was created in 1990 and includes a range of stormwater management services in the state of Florida. The program works in collaboration with St. Johns River Water Management District (S.J.R.W.M.D.), the National Estuary Program, local municipalities and other counties throughout the state. The Brevard County Stormwater Program provides assistance and recommendations for the selection and implementation of efficient stormwater treatment methods. It includes a variety of measures to prevent flooding in local areas and has various projects planned that will help alleviate flooding issues in identified areas and provide treatment to stormwater.
