Nicole Mcconnell, MD

Dr. Maruja Fernandez is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Being a third generation OB/Gyn, she believes in comprehensive, individualized care for her patients. Dr. Fernandez is a graduate of the University of Oviedo School of Medicine in Spain. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada in Reno, and her OB/Gyn training at the University of Puerto Rico in San Juan. Married and with two children, she resides in Tampa. Dr. Fernandez enjoys traveling and outdoor activities such as skiing and biking.

Dr. Olga Marie Colon-Mercado is a compassionate OB-GYN physician serving patients at Women's Care in Plant City, FL. A Puerto Rico native, she earned her medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University and is completing her OB-GYN residency at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. Dr. Colon-Mercado is passionate about comprehensive postpartum care, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is an award-winning researcher and dedicated volunteer, providing education and care to underserved communities. Fluent in Spanish, she is known for her empathetic approach and commitment to women's health.

Lisa Martin, APRN, is a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 30 years of experience. She provides expert, patient-centered care at Women's Care locations in Brandon, Lithia, Plant City, and Riverview, FL. Lisa specializes in gynecologic exams, wellness screenings, hormone therapy, and family health. A U.S. Air Force veteran and nursing educator, she is dedicated to empowering women through education, prevention, and holistic care. Lisa holds dual certifications from NCC and ANCC and earned her MSN from the University of Tampa.
