Narayan K. Iyer, MD

Dr. Iyer completed Medical School at TD Medical College in Alappuzha, Kerala, India as well as a Master of Science degree at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, UK. His Internal Medicine Residency began at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, UK, and completed at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with a Family Medicine Residency. Along with his many studies, Dr. Iyer participated in clinical research at the Clinical Research Centre at the University of Surrey in Guildford, England. He has worked at TMH in a number of different positions: Medical Director of Medical Symptom Reduction Clinic, Hospitalist Physician, Chronic Wound care, and HBO Physician. He continues to take care of patients in the hospital setting at TMH and at TMH’s Wound Healing Center. Dr. Iyer is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, American Board of Clinical Lipidology, and also certified in Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care.
