Founded in 2009 by restaurateur Chef Jim Shirley and his partner Kelli Castille the Meltdown on 30a’s home is in Airstream Row in beautiful Seaside, Florida. The Meltdown on 30a is located inside a vintage airstream trailer/food truck parked on the edge of highway30a overlooking The Seaside Amphitheater. It specializes in creating gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches that are made with homemade, locally sourced ingredients. From the classic American grilled cheese featuring American cheese on Texas toast to the meatloaf melt featuring melted mozzarella, homemade meatloaf, marinara, ham and melted Swiss on sourdough bread. Children’s menus, beverages, soups along with beer and wine offer the perfect ingredients for a healthy picnic to take to the beach or amphitheater.
