About Brian Brian Palmer was born and raised in the Sarasota, Florida area. He attended school in the City of Venice and graduated from Venice High School in 1985. In May of 1989, Brian earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Stetson University. He continued his post-baccalaureate education at Stetson and later transferred to the University of South Florida where he completed his studies. Brian has been awarded Certified Public Accountant ( CPA ) status by the State of Florida. To obtain this distinction, a candidate must earn an additional 30 credits beyond one's bachelor and pass a vigorous state examination. Brian has also been a member of the National Project Management Institute since 2001. Brian has over 15 years experience in the accounting field. He has worked in the private sector as well as for an international public accounting firm which has given him a broad knowledge base. Realizing his desire to work for himself and to offer a more personalized service to clients, Brian established Brian Palmer Accounting & Tax, Inc Our firm is dedicated to serving all of your accounting, tax, and financial services needs.
