Maria N Kyriacou, MD

William Davis, III, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health, specializing in sports medicine. He speaks English and conversational Spanish.Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Davis worked for the Musculoskeletal Institute at Duly Health and Care as an orthopedic sports medicine surgeon. He served as the academic lead for Duly Health Care’s Sports Medicine group and as the head team physician and medical director for North Central College Athletics.After earning his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Davis completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital. He then continued his education with his orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Baptist Health Doctors Hospital UHZ Sports Medicine Institute and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Baptist Health Orthopedic Institute.In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Davis is a faculty instructor at the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. His research on improving outcomes for sports-related injuries can be found in peer-reviewed publications such as Current Orthopaedic Practice and Foot and Ankle Clinics. Dedicated to whole-patient health, Dr. Davis offers comprehensive treatments and postoperative care to help people get back to their busy lives. He takes time to listen and review his patients’ concerns and collaborates with them to create recovery plans that reflect their goals. Outside of work, Dr. Davis enjoys skiing, golfing, reading and spending time with his family.

Fernando A. Moya, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Dr. Moya specializes in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, including the care of knees and shoulders. He speaks English and Spanish. Prior to joining Baptist Health Orthopedic Care in 2022, Dr. Moya worked as an orthopedic surgeon and the director of joint surgery with Sports Medicine Associates of South Florida.Along with his medical degree, Dr. Moya holds a Ph.D. in pharmacology from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He also completed postdoctoral research fellowships at Harvard University and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. He has been published in numerous pharmacological medical journals and is a fellow and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.Dr. Moya is passionate about meeting patients every day and finding solutions to help them recover to live healthy lives. Using his medical, pharmacological and surgical backgrounds, he takes a holistic approach when working with each patient to find the right treatment option for them.Dr. Moya provided medical coverage for the Miami Open ATP, WTA, and the MLS InterMiami CF from 2022-2023.In his free time, Dr. Moya enjoys sports of all kinds and at every level. He also loves basketball and plays tennis.

Cary B. Chapman, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. Dr. Chapman specializes in minimally invasive surgical treatments for chronic and acute foot and ankle injuries, ankle arthritis, ankle replacements, bunions, and hammer toe deformities. Dr. Chapman’s extensive experience includes more than a decade of private and academic medicine in New York City. While on faculty at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, he was the first surgeon in New York State to successfully perform a custom total ankle replacement using innovative 3D printing technology. He also previously served as the chief of foot and ankle surgery at the University of Miami. As he returns to South Florida, Dr. Chapman brings his passion for training the next generation of orthopedic surgeons. His experience as a clinical assistant professor at the New York University School of Medicine and the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine, as well as his involvement in developing questions for orthopedic surgery board examinations, will be beneficial to expanding the educational division of the orthopedic department.Aside from clinical and direct academic experience, Dr. Chapman continues to do research that has been published in numerous peer-reviewed publications, including The Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery, Cartilage, Orthopedics, Foot & Ankle International, The American Journal of Orthopedics and Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has been honored to present his work at leading regional and national meetings and has been privileged to have lectured and presented his work and share his experience on many orthopedic topics at Continuing Medical Education (CME) conferences.He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and an active member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society. Some of Dr. Chapman’s awards and accolades include being the recipient of the Castle Connolly New York Metro Area’s Top Doctor Award and the New York Super Doctors Award seven years in a row.Dr. Chapman’s approach to patient care is to treat each patient as an individual, considering factors such as their lifestyle, age, occupation and expectations when developing a treatment plan. Whenever possible, he first uses nonoperative or conservative treatment methods. When not treating patients, Dr. Chapman enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and skiing.
