Shands Medical Plaza, located in Gainesville, Fla., provides various radiology facilities. In addition to radiation therapy, its radiology facilities include medical imaging technology, such as magnetic resonance imaging, CT scan, mammography and X-ray. The center is a part of the Shands HealthCare, a private, nonprofit organization affiliated to the University of Florida, which includes more than 10 hospitals and over 80 outpatient primary and specialty care practices serving Florida.
