Founded in 1895, J.C. Newman Cigar Co. is a four-generation family business and is the oldest family-owned premium cigar company in the United States. J.C. Newman proudly welcomes visitors to experience Tampa’s cigar heritage at its historic El Reloj cigar factory in the Ybor City historic district. Built in 1910, El Reloj is the last cigar factory still operating in the Cigar City. Visitors can explore J.C. Newman’s three-level cigar museum, watch old cigar films in an interactive theater, take a guided factory tour, learn how to roll and blend cigars, and browse rare cigars and gifts in the factory store.
