Operational since 1993, The Transition House Inc. has been one of the leaders in addressing the homeless issues in Florida. The organization services the homeless citizens of Central Florida through its various programs. Based in Kissimmee, Fla., it is a member of the Florida Alcohol & Drug Abuse Association (FADAA). The Transition House Inc. offers various programs and services for veterans, such as substance abuse treatment, mental health medication management, daily life skills, vocational training, employment readiness and counseling.
