He spent two years as a consultant surgeon in the Division of Liver Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgery at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, India, after being an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. In addition to transplantation, Dr. Singhal treats patients with liver disease, cancer of the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, and other cancers that spread to the liver from other organs.
