Dr. Agnew is a board certified Orthopaedic surgeon and orthopaedic traumatologist. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from University of South Carolina-Honors College in Columbia, South Carolina, and earned his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. He also developed and founded Global Trauma Solutions, Inc., a corporation dedicated to the development of sustainable practice models for traumatologists. Dr. Agnew is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Orthopedic Trauma Association, and other international and regional organizations. He serves as teaching faculty for Clemson University Department of Biology: Pre-Medical Studies Program and is an Honorary Adjunct Clinical Professor for Hospital Universitario Austral in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dr. Agnew has published extensively-peer-reviewed articles in major orthopaedic journals, book chapters, and his research has been presented at national meetings.
