Dr. Samuel is a pediatric anesthesiologist in pain management at Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital. His clinical focus is on pediatric anesthesiology and a multimodal approach to pediatric pain management that includes but isnt limited to medication weaning, nerve blocks, patient-controlled analgesia and chronic pain medication management. He joined the hospital staff in 2015. Dr. Samuel earned his medical degree at Kasturba Medical School in India and completed an internship at the Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his anesthesiology residency and his pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami with half of his fellowship work also at Nicklaus Childrens Hospital in Miami.

Dr. Odendal specializes in pediatric emergency medicine at Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital. She joined the hospital staff in 2018. Her clinical interests include trauma and transport medicine, as well as clinical teaching. Before joining the hospital staff, Dr. Odendal was a clinical lecturer in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Calgary/Alberta Children's Hospital. Dr. Odendal earned her medical degree with distinction at the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine and Oral Health Sciences. She completed her pediatric residency as chief pediatric resident at the University of British Columbia and a clinical fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine as well as one year of pediatric critical care at the University of British Columbia.
