Founded in 1992, Environmental and Geotechnical Specialists, Inc. (EGS) caters all the specialty services related to environmental and geotechnical engineering. Based in Tallahassee, Fla., EGS offers solutions in the fields of geotechnical investigations, geotechnical designs, environmental permitting, environmental site assessments and contamination assessments. It is a full-service geotechnical consulting firm, providing subsurface drilling, soil sampling, laboratory testing, engineering evaluations and recommendations for an array of projects. The firm has received awards from the American Society of Civil Engineers, Florida Engineering Society and American Public Works Association.
