Dustin Owen is the Regional Vice President of the Southeast region at Waterstone Mortgage Corporation and founding partner of the Murphy-Owen Home Loan Team. The Murphy-Owen Home Loan Team is one of Waterstone Mortgage's top mortgage origination teams in the United States. They have been awarded President's Club status a record eight years in a row. The team is based out of Waterstone Mortgage's Winter Park branch and helps over 100 families each year with the financing of their homes.The Murphy-Owen Home Loan Team of Waterstone Mortgage does not believe in a one-size-fits-all mortgage. They believe that a mortgage is a financial instrument that needs to be tailor-made to match each client's personal and financial needs, wants, and goals.Dustin Owen was born and raised in Central Florida. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Dustin also attended college in England where he studied economics, marketing, and popular culture. His keen interest in finance directed him out of the television advertising industry in 2004 and into the mortgage banking industry. Dustin joined Waterstone Mortgage, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waterstone Bank, SSB, in August of 2008. Along with his two business partners, David Holbrook and Michael Smalley, Dustin is responsible for operating, managing, and growing the Southeast region for Waterstone Mortgage.
