Dr. Alejandro Mario Forteza, MD

A Miami native, Dr. Cummock returned to Miami after attending Washington University in St. Louis and worked as a Neurosurgery Research Associate for three years at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. His research focused on minimally invasive spine surgery outcomes and spinal cord injury treatments. After graduating from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York in 2015, he completed his Neurosurgical Residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2022. He subsequently returned to the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine to complete a Complex and Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery Spine Fellowship in 2023.
