Defend and Protect

Founded in 1978, Woodland Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 950 students. Its academic curriculum features classes in a variety of subjects, such as reading, writing, math and science. The school has been awarded an A grade by the Florida Department of Education for over five years in a row. Woodland Elementary School oversees a professional staff of more than 130 employees. It operates a library media center that offers a range of books and reference materials. The school maintains a parent-teacher association that encourages parental involvement in children s education. In addition, Woodland Elementary School organizes various book fairs. It is governed by Pasco County Schools, which operates elementary, middle, high and charter schools.
