Little Havana Activity Center
Little Havana Activities Nutrition Centers of Dade County, Inc. (LHANC) is a leading provider of social, nutrition, and health services for economically disadvantaged seniors in the South Florida area. Established in 1972, LHANC has grown from a small office with three employees to become one of the largest organizations dedicated to supporting socially isolated elderly individuals, enabling them to live at home with assistance and avoid costly institutionalization. With a mission to identify and address the needs of low-income, frail, and isolated seniors, LHANC offers a comprehensive range of services including adult day care, adult education, Alzheimer's care, and congregate meals. Serving over 11,000 individuals annually and having assisted 81,000 since its inception, LHANC primarily supports those living below the poverty line, women, individuals aged 75 and older, those living alone, and the Hispanic community.Generated from the website
