His research interests have focused on tinea pedis infections, acne, psoriasis, rosacea, and atopic dermatitis, to name a few.Because of his expertise in the field of dermatology, Dr. Rodriguez is an invited speaker at teaching conferences and seminars across the country and world. He has presented in the World Congress of Dermatology and in the American Academy of Dermatology annual conference. In addition, Dr. Rodriguez has been featured as a skin expert in local Univision television programs, a national NBC television special, Americas Ethnic Skin: An Al Roker Health Special, and quoted in numerous dermatological magazines and the New York Times.As a highly regarded dermatologist with profound knowledge and experience in hyperpigmentation and aging in ethnic populations, Dr. Rodriguez was invited to become a founding member of the Skin of Color Society (SOCS).
